Astra GTC

[Abbildung]	Heart of the complete concept STEINMETZ Astra GT/C, which was launched as a world premiere at the ESSEN-MOTOR-SHOW 1998, is the 2.3 litre four cylinder four valve engine. With this engine the also weight-optimized STEINMETZ Astra GT/C has road performances like a sports car.
Our engine technicians developed an ingenious concept to reach an optimal performance of the 2.0 16V Ecotec engine. First step is the capacity increase from 2.0 to 2.3 litres with a special crankshaft with longer piston stroke, exactly balanced rods and forged pistons with special profile and bigger diameter.
